Week 1. Setting the Tone

February 03, 20261 min read

Coach’s Corner

Whether you intend it or not, your energy sets the tone. Teams often take their cues, not from what leaders say, but from how they show up: their pace, presence, and emotional state.

This week is about noticing the impact your energy has on the people around you. When leaders become aware of this influence, they gain the ability to lead more intentionally, especially under pressure.

TIDAL Tip of the Week

At the end of each day, reflect on three moments where your energy was most noticeable. Ask yourself what influenced it: stress, focus, preparation, or environment.

Awareness is the first step to managing leadership energy rather than reacting to it.
