Week 3: “Self-Talk & Internal Leadership”
Coach’s Corner
Before a leader speaks to a room, they have already spoken to themselves. That internal dialogue, whether steady or critical, shapes the tone, confidence, and clarity of what follows.
This week is about noticing the voice you use with yourself, especially under pressure, and deciding whether it is helping or working against you.
TIDAL Tip of the Week
Pay attention to your self-talk this week:
•What do I say to myself before a difficult moment?
•Is that voice supportive, neutral, or critical?
•What is one phrase I could use instead that would help me perform better?
Replacing one unhelpful phrase with a steadier one is a small shift that compounds over time.
