Week 1: “Long-Term Visioning”

October 27, 2026•1 min read

Growth does not happen by accident. It is the result of deliberate choices made consistently over time: where to focus, how to align effort, and what to simplify so the important things are not lost in the noise.

As the year nears its close, November is about stepping back to look at growth strategically: setting a longer horizon, aligning daily execution to it, and beginning to build the momentum that will carry into the new year.

Coach’s Corner

Day-to-day demands have a way of shrinking a leader's field of view. Long-term visioning is the practice of deliberately widening it again: asking not just what needs to happen this week, but where you are actually trying to go.

This week is about lifting your gaze beyond the immediate and reconnecting with the bigger picture you are building toward.

TIDAL Tip of the Week

Set aside time this week to think beyond the current quarter:

•Where do I want this organisation, team, or career to be in three to five years?

•What am I doing today that supports that direction?

•What am I doing today that quietly works against it?

A clear long-term view makes short-term decisions easier to make.
